~But things can get so crazy living life gets hard to do~
Currently addicted to Maroon 5's Sunday Morning. Love it Love it Love it. Went to the airport earlier this morning to send my dad off to Singapore. So, here I was in the car, when we passed the Jame' and that big electronic thing yg just before you masuk the tunnel? And there was the date for all to see : 1/12/2004. Then it hit me. I'm going to be on a plane to the US in 5 DAYS!!! Whooaaaaa!!! Reality check! Cause all this time 6th Dec seemed like ages to go!!! What with exams and Raya, it just never occured to me that I was ACTUALLY going to the Big Apple! Yea, I know, I can be such an airhead sometimes but YEAH! Hahaha. For those of you who don't know the story: My dad has a meeting in Dallas and he's bringing me & my mom along. The following conversation took place when I found out we were going with him:
Me: Dallas? Ooh, cool we're going to the US.
Babah: Yeah, we're going to go from KL, then to New York, then to Dallas.
Me: HOLD ON. We're going to transit di New York? The Big Apple? The City That Never Sleeps? Home of Times Square and the big screen outside MTV???
Babah: Yeah, but we're only going to be in the airport, then we're going to Dallas.
Me: DALLAS? APA ADA DI DALLAS?
Babah: Do you just want to stay in NY with Mama then?
Me: DO I???!!!
Babah: Well...do you?
Me: *tch* YEAH!
Well, it didn't REALLY go like that but the gist is there hahaha. If I typed the actual conversation, I'd bore you guys to tears.
Did I mention my brother's gonna stay home? Can you believe it? And it's not like we don't want to bring him along or anything...He's gonna pass up this once-in-a-lifetime op to see MTV HQ because ia 'malas' (!!)...*tsk*
So, I guess this'll be the last time I make a posting before I leave for the US cause I'm going to Singapore the day after tomorrow which means major packing tomorrow. SooooOOOOoooo, c u guys in a bit...
P.S I was supposed to start working at HSBC today but since I'm going to *attempts to make airplane noise* I've asked to postpone my starting date. Belabih ah? baru start kerja, sudah tia minta cuti hahahah
P.P.S You seriously don't think I'm going to leave a post w/o mentioning KAER do you? heheh...7th Dec is the dinner at JPPC with KAER, Adam, Farah, Bob, Zarina and Anding and OBVIOUSLY, I'm going to miss it cause I'll be on a plane to the US WHICH MEANS I won't even be able to call anyone who's going to the dinner so that they can pass it on to Kaer. :( Oh well. Noo Yawk beckons!!!!!!! :D
