And the award goes to...
I was watching the Golden Globes this morning (live telecast from the States) and when Robin Williams stepped up to receive his Cecil B. DeMille Award I thought to myself, there should be a whole other award ceremony for the year's acceptance speeches you know? I mean, Robin's acceptance speech ought to receive like the funniest speech award or something...it was hilarious!!!
Other than watch the Golden Globes, I went to get measured for my SCB uniform in Bandar, then went to Vincci with Zie to look for work shoes. I've been having the worst luck with shoes the last year. I think at LEAST 6 pairs of my sandals have removed itself from the heel or has a broken strap. Chee! Skali once we were in Vincci, rupanya Zie ani inda jua pandai pilih kasut...so imagine this..2 clueless-about-shoes girls in a shop full of shoes. So what do we do? We call for reinforcement aka Dutz WHO by the way started her first day at JIS today. Hahaha. After getting the shoes we went to Coffee Zone to hang out.
SO, that wraps up a pretty much uneventful day for me. Tomorrow I start at the Gadong Branch and thus the first-day-of-work anxiety begins all over again...
p/s Man U won in the match against Liverpool 1-0...URGH!
