Innalillahi Wa'innailaihi Raji'un
This week has been one dramatic roller-coaster ride. I was stressed out for my assignment to finish, I was desperate to go to the city…And I was so shocked to find that two of my great-uncles have passed away.
On Friday evening, I was working on my assignment, and while chatting online my mom told me that Nini Tua di Mabohai meninggal. And when you’re alone, and stressed out, everything seems to be magnified, right? And when you hear news like that, it was so overwhelming. This was the first bad news I’ve received since coming here and I was so sad to hear it…
I then continued to work on my assignment til well after 4 in the morning. I felt so relieved to finally finish it and went on to smbhyg Isya’ and read Yassin to sedekah for Nini Tua. I woke at ten to get ready to go to the city…I was so glad to get out of the suburbs and finally see family again.
I arrived at the city ard 2, riding the train for the first time all by myself…skali sampai, jumpa Ujai & Kalil and went on to QV to meet up with Mun. We had a great time, mkn lunch, then ke Crown liat Fantastic Four tapi masa waiting for the tram outside Crown, Ujai & Kalil rcvd two missed calls. As soon as we reached Jai’s aptmt, we settled down to watch VCD AF3, and then…the phone rang. Me and Mun were in the living room while Kalil went to answer the phone…Jai dlm biliknya tukar baju. Skali we heard suara Kalil mcm grave.
I was shocked again with news of another relative passing away in less than 24 hours. Nini Gadong had been in critical condition for the past 3 days, but I always thought he would survive. He always has. I was so sad to hear it…to tell you the truth, the reality of it hasn’t really sunk in yet…I think because we’re here so far away from everything, it’s just so hard to accept it.
Now, I’m back home, re-checking my assignment and tomorrow, everything will be ‘back to normal’. I’ll be busy with my next assignment, my mind will probably be distracted with that for the next week. Hoping to get it done by Friday again, I want to go sleepover at the city lagi.
