Alhamdulillah
Akum peeps...
Been busy, going about town, catching up on my James Dean movies heh...have I mentioned that I finally got them from Borders after watching Brokeback Mountain? Gosh BM was intense. A wholle lotta Gyllen-ass :D
SO biggest news so far?? Yesterday, planned to meet up with Ka Sitah after Oprah at 2 pm. Around 12, which was when I had my breakfast (heh), went to make up my bed...then...noticed that my phone had lighted up. i.e text message received. And when I saw it was Auntie Cher who had texted, I thought maybe she wanted to meet up for Casanova kah or something. But no. It simply said results out!!
SKALI ran to the study to check my email. Gilerzzz....gedebak gedebuk my heart while waiting to get online. It's amazing how everything seems to go in slow-mo when you want it to go in fast fwd isn't it? So, slowly scrolled down the site...to find that I AM GETTING INTO 2ND YEAR!!!! Alhamdulillah....I couldn't yell bloody murder cause well, my neighbours enjoy their peace, so settled for squealing for joy. Yay. Alhamdulillah...
After settling a couple of things, spruced up my place, watched Ellen (couldn't help it), mandi-ed while Oprah was on and left (at 2.30!! Tsk tsk janji melayu--but hey, i did give her prior warning!) to trek to Ka Sitah's place on A'Beckett St. The delirous feeling I had while walking there is indescribable...I survived my first year in Melbourne!!! Skali, didn't get lost (Alhamdulillah) while looking for Ka Sitah's place...and from there, Me, ka Sitah and Athirah (who had come back the day before) set off to Queen Victoria Market, which has the most ridiculously yummy fetta cheese wrapped in smoked salmon and cheese stuffed red peppers. NYAMAN sampai tak terkata. hahaha.
Then went back to Ka Sitah's place to celebrate me getting into 2nd year with fresh oysters we just bought which were..Oh..Em...Jee teeheehee...Gosh I wished there were more people to celebrate with!!! I called my fam last night to properly talk to them about the good news..I haven't talked to all of them like that in a while which made me very homesickkk!!
Then settled in to watch the very long, very epic, "Giant" starring James Dean. All in all, a pretty good day, I must say. I also ventured out by myself for the first time today since I've moved. Selalunya ada Auntie or Ka Sitah. It is so lovely to walk down Lonsdale Street on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Headed to Big W in search of cushions. I LOVE CUSHIONS. It makes living rooms so homey. And I thought Auntie mentioned there were James Dean cushions at Big W tapi cari cari cari nada! I was sooo disappointed cause I soooo wanted a JD cushion. Rupanya it was a James Dean bean bag cover, at $38.49. The hell?! My budget was 20 bucks! Plus hello?! Drag a bean bag all the way from Big W to my place??? Errrr no thanks, maybe next time.
There's absolutely nothing on TV right now..The Hulk, Croc Dundee...F*** Weekend Aus TV man!!!! Ooh esok I'm off to Ikea with Athirah to get more cushions (guilty!) and a throw...while she needs to go furniture shopping for her new place. Hmm...Mun's coming tomorrow too!~~~~ Yayy more Bruneians~ I've been so deprived, it's insane. Then Monday, off to re-enrol~~~riname: Oits! How're the nat'l day practices?? Heard you're involved kan??? Hitam dah? :P Today I miss: ASTRO!
