Sunday morning and it's boring~
Assalamualaikum
G’day!~~ Haven’t got much to story at the moment. Yesterday met up with Mun for a late lunch at Changi..which I haven’t been to in ages! Finally! Malay food! Hahaha…rindu rindu rindu...It rained yesterday too...so I trekked all the way to Melb Central in the rain...but it was lovely rain...but rain in my place sounds waaay spooky...cam *THUD THUD THUD* hahah...then went about Melbourne Central when Mun wanted to hang at my apartment…Sooo, dragged her down Lonsdale Street [the street where I live :)] and brought her up…then we hung out and watched the first 2 eps of the 3rd season of the O.C. *sigh* when boredom strikes…
I am such a Lost junkie nowadays...as well as a Prison Break junkie (Wentworth Miller is soo soo hotttt), an OC junkie, a CSI junkie, a House junkie, a Desperate Housewives junkie, a Las Vegas junkie...apakan...semua tah hehehe...but like, 'tis the season for all these kick-ass shows on television, cam, gosh! which one to watch??? But why oh why weekend Aus Tv are you so full of CRAP?!
I checked this site out, http://www.speed-light.info/islam/relativity_quran.htm (which I invite any physics people out there to check out…In fact, anyone who understands physics to a certain degree can check it out actually). The guy who created the website has put a lot of energy into proving that the Big Bang was described in the Qur’an. Personally, I think he’s succeeded. If it has opened the hearts of even a few people, then Alhamdulillah.
“And insult not those whom they (disbelievers) worship besides Allâh, lest they insult Allâh wrongfully without knowledge. Thus We [Allah] have made fairseeming to each people its own doings; then to their Lord is their return and He shall then inform them of all that they used to do.” (Surah Al An’am, Ayat 108). Coolies.
Once uni starts I pray I carry on with this with just as much dedication. I suppose reading the Qur’an with an English translation has appealed me to read it more carefully than without. Which in the end, is the whole idea of reading the Qur’an right? What use of reading it without understanding a word?... Aaaaaanyway, until next time, Insya Allah, I’ll see you peeps!
Today, I miss: Ms. Siow’s physics class when most of my classmates were too scared to even make a peep :).
