Exam season's upon Australians and it's got me pretty depressed. I know, going home is imminent..but the hurdle of exams are occupying my mind 24 hours a day. Side effects include my head drifting off into space, incoherent speech and all around bouts of random confusion. :(

To combat the depression I've been watching X3 and Da Vinci code (twice!). The second time I caught DVC, was on the Thursday night that the Socceroos were against Greece for a pre-World up friendly here in good ol' Melb. Now, I live in the Greek precinct right? So on the way back, I saw this big crowd outside Stalactites, the 24-hour Greek restaurant, 2 blocks down my apartment...it was soooo crowded they blocked that part of the road for the night...And the score? 1-0 to the Socceroos....Goodness, imagine the place if the Greeks won! The game meant that my area was full of yummy hot Greeks wandering up and down the streets of Lonsdale which meant lots of 'cuci mata-ing' hikhik...

Back to the movies: they were excellent! Totally summer-movie worthy...glad it opened way before exams started. And now I feel like shopping. Argh.

I dunno why but I''m totally experiencing low self-esteem at the moment. I think I'm annoying the hell out of people, even myself. God, help me. Hellllpppp. Could it be paranoia? I dunno...but whatever it is, there's always a bigger problem to worry about. I'm starting to get sick of thinking about politics. It's everywhere man. I need to escape it. I need a holiday. There's even politics at home. I never had to think about these kind of things back in the old days! This is the thing that I miss about the old days: How carefree and happy-go-lucky I was. I wish politics did not go hand in hand with maturity. Unfortunately, it does. Maybe when people realise that in the end, our relationship with Allah s.w.t is the most important relationship that we have to think about, hearts will get lighter, and minds wouldn't be so corrupted. If at this point, every single person in the world hated me, I would be ok as long as I know that I am happy with myself.

Take a deep breath everyone. And smile. Laugh at yourself. And be at peace.
