*warning: do not read and drive*
Assalamualaikum
This is a good Thursday. I started off the day with a guy on the train asking Auntie and me if we were gonna get off at the Flagstaff station. When we said no he said, are you gonna get thrown off the train? And me and auntie were like huh? He was like Just kidding you guys. Then he wished us a good day. Random, I know but it was pretty funny they way he said it.
Then my Fin Mod lecture ended a WHOLE hour early. Ian is just so..I don't know...he warned us at the beginning of the sem that there was no use to attend lectures, I guess he wasn't kidding! So I had a whole hour to hang out with Owee, a M'sian friend from college who just joined us in uni this sem and Auntie before my dreaded Corp Law tute. It's not that my tutor is bad, it's just that I have the worst luck in it. She asks everyone in the room to answer the tute questions that we've prepared and she always picks on me for questions that I find tough to answer. It's like, uh hello? I'm always tempted to skip it but for(eh, couldn't resist the law ref) 3 reasons:
1. Attendance
2. Hot hot hottie future lawyers
3. The "model" answers are usually useful for future purposes
So, every week I dread going to the class but I leave it feeling a bit better about myself.
Then after class went to the poster sale at uni and got a couple for the room :) Buying posters are such a waste of $$ but I loves it so much! Ada sudah Brokeback Mt. punya. Im so happy but I didn't get it. Woulda been a bit overboard if I did. HAH. W'pun Jakey hotness Gyllenhaal :)
Then went to have lunch with Auntie...Kesian wah she has a 5 hr break so I tend to stay around until 3, since I haven't got much to do if I returned to the city anyway. Then went back to enjoy a long, well deserved (???) nap. Woke up at 8.30 and found out Auntie would be popping by my place to pick up the poster she bought with me. And since her roommate was out she hung around my place...and made me dinner! Haha. Malu ku eh. My friend is too nice y'alls. She rummaged thru my embarassingly funky smelling fridge which has long-expired mayo and bread to make me an egg sandwich. No, she didn't give me food poisoning, she got rid of the mayo and bread and mixed the eggs with the caesar salad dressing and the bread that I just got yesterday. While I ate my dinner we watched Bones and Family Guy. I forgot how hot David B is.
Hmm, I haven't got any intelligent ramblings today...I guess nowadays I don't feel the need to blog as much because it makes me think so much. AHAH. Cali.
Anyway, I'm saddened by the attacks on Lebanon and Palestine. I don't have any hatred for the other side, I just wish they'd stop hurting innocent people. I'm not one that tends to talk about political situations in the world, but it's just so sad to see all these people whose lives are ruined, just because they happen to live on a piece of land. I know what the land represents but still.
So before I sign off on this post, I hope anyone who reads this humble little blog of mine to join me in having the innocent victims of this unfortunate battle in our prayers. Peace, people and don't forget to smile!
