Time Stops For No Man. Much Less For A Uni Student.
Assalamualaikum peoples.
I am soooo exhausted. Since I've arrived, I feel like I haven't had a moment to just sit down, relax and reflect on the past few days. It's almost been a week and it's like I've been either attending classes, going to admin to sort out stuff, stocking up on apartment stuff or to show my dad the sights of Melbourne. It's a good trip for my dad though I think. It's the first time in a long time since he's had a real good rest. And bringing him around makes me realise how well I know this place hahah LOVES IT. I totally totally missed being here. Just the whole ambience, the places to hang out, the people.
In uni news, I am going to feel optimistic about the semester. So far my classes look alright and I've resolved to be more proactive in my studies. Let's see how long that'll last :D Yesterday I went to sort out a unit with the admin and then went off to get my dad his bday present at Melb C. On the way home passed by Laurent's and seriously, anyone who's in the area should go check out the place. Their shoes are so hot at really not-so-painful prices. And then checked out Vic Mart's Night Market (last for the year!) and had some yummy Lebanese murtabak type food.
This is prolly the first time I've spent alone in the apartment in ages and I'm responsible for my own dinner. My dad's got dinner plans with a friend of his who works here. Anyway, I'm about to go prepare dinner so I'll sign off for now. Reminder to Arcade Fire fans: their latest album comes out next week! WoOooOOOoo!!~~~
