I vow to not amai with the ctrl function again. EVER. tpi esok but lagi! Huhuhu. I'm sure fellow bloggers can attest to this, it's just so bloody irritating when you accidentally delete this long post that you've spent ages working on! Sdah tah orang ani jarang blog! MOVING ON...
I wanted to wish a HUGE Happy (belated) Birthday to the following people who celebrated their respectively auspicious days in the past week: Syaz, Nadz, Tangahnya Jirin, Ka Wani and a happy advanced birthday to Mas who'll be celebrating tomorrow. Many many happy returns of the day to these wonderful people!!!
I'm happy to report I finally finished THE BOOK as of Sunday at 3am. I don't want to go too much into it cause there are a bajillion reviews out there already. But I will say I am extremely satisfied with how it ended, it did not disappoint and I am glad I could experience the Potterverse before I got too old to enjoy it. I know that even adults can enjoy it too but picking up the book while I was still in high school meant that some things particularly resonated with me so that spesel connexion exists, you know? I've been following the series since 2001 (while I was still in Form 4!!!! MUDA MASIH) so 6 years to wait before finding out how it all ends has been an enjoyable experience. I hope fellow Potter readers out there enjoyed the ride as much as I did!!!
Managed to catch one of the three movies I'll be following for the Int. Film Fest on Saturday night. The theatrehas this old school feel on the outside complete with the blinking sign...tapi insidenya dramatic: heavy red curtains and carpeted walls(!!!) and chandeliers and all. The movie was great, totally unexpected of a a war movie. I absolutely ADORE Christian Bale...not only is he smoking hot he is one fantastic actor. I was surprised at the audience turnout, not a single seat was empty. Melburnians are art fiends man. Trailernya ada tu di youtube...search for rescue dawn if interested (too tired to cari linknya)...Ada chan dvd9 nya kluar di Brunei kah? S'funny how these indie flicks will find its way on a dvd9 di Brunei when you least expect it. Macam the collection of wayang2 Roman Polanski (kah?) or whichever exiled director there is out there was on the shelves of Cheong Hock. Like, payah2 si Auntie cari online, di JB's, HMV, I find it di Cheong Hock. Random. HAHAHA.
Countdown to the 300 DVD: 1 DAYYYY!!!!!! Em, I watch 300 for the articles.
