I just came back from a lecture this evening on international acocunting standards by an honorary professor who is so important I ought to have felt special to be in his presence. Or so MOnash says. Entah eh, mcm ndaaaa pun special rasanya. Belabih jua uni ku ani kekadang. I had to learn how to mingle and make small talk. Something essential that you need once you get into the working world - contacts are key. Where do you cross the line between nice and doormat though? Between topics that are professional and leaving out personal details? Do I have some kind of social disability that people are naturally supposed to know this? I never had to think about these things before.
I felt dead boring - either talking about my backgroud (from Brunei- yes its a small country in the north of borneo, it's hot all year round, hotter than today even - and you?) or the assignment (oh so which organisation are you doing? Oh sounds interesting! I'm doing Banca di Roma...yea in the first country...quite pressured...). The people I had to meet were people I'm going to have to learn to live with for 3 weeks. I've already established sapa yg worth knowing, sapa yg potentially sangal kan di layan but first impressions are dangerous, right? OH whatever, asal sampai ke Europe :D
Gosh it's so hot today - apparently it was going to rain. Okay enough of this moody vibe. Last weekend, after classes I found my way to the Royal Botanic Gardens with Mun, Mal and Maya. So so gorgeous, I never realised how beautiful the places and landmarks were. I can't wait to go back there soon, apparently there are scones there that are yummers.
So here are photos from our excursion..Can't post up that much since we all left our cameras (!!!) and I only took from my phone and my phone ani transfer gmbr satu2 pkai bluetooth. PAIN AH PAIN.

Shangri-La.

THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAA! Looked for Leonidas, I think he was off to war.

Tiga biji kepala.
Rumahku.
Garden ku.

The garden is in the heart of the city (sort of...). I've fallen in love with this city again.
Yesterday went to DFo looking for my boots and I got em yayy. Now I hve to look for the rest of my winter wardrobe....After DFO, the 3Ms lepaq'd at my house, watched Legend of 1900. i've watched it before and I remember crying my eyes out at it thought I'd give it a go again. Skalinya, when they were here didn't really concentrate TAPI when they left I watched it again....BASAH WAH BAJUKU NANGIS. I think that movie is on my list of for-sure nangis movies. Others on the list: Finding Neverland and Life Is Beautiful. Oh I recently watched and loved becoming jane as well but I didn't cry like a river lah. Worthy mention: JAMES MCAVOY IS HOT. He's a bit Butler-esque which makes me loike.
